Applications |
|
Taste
Masking Agent :A drug polymer adduct can be synthesized due to
the ionic bonding between the bitter drug and the polymer thus
masking the objectionable bitter taste of the drug. Since the
polymer drug adduct so formed is tasteless in the mouth, but it
dissociates in the acidic pH of the stomach, the bio availability of
the drug is not effected. Examples : Norfloxacin,
Ofloxacin
Sustain Release of Nicotine : The crosslinked porous polymer
facilitates sustain release of nicotine.

Toxicity |
|
Taste Masking Agent - 104 is high molecular weight polymer so can't
be absorbed by body tissued & is safe for human consumption. It
has no any physiological action at recommended dosage & it is
non-toxic.
|
Storage |
|
Store in tightly container. Keep away from moisture. If moisture is
absorbed, dry at 900C to 1000C to remove moisture content below 10%.
|
Packing |
|
5 kg, 20 kg, in Corrugated Box. Note : Application
notes and MSDS sheet can be made available on request.

Taste Masking Rosin - 134
Taste Masking Rosin - 134 is derived from crosslinked polymer of
acrylic acid and has a K + ionic form.
Taste Masking Rosin - 134 is a very high purity polymer finding use
in pharmaceutical formulations for TASTE MASING of certain drugs,
particularly B-lactum antibiotics.

Applications |
|
Taste Masking Agent : Taste Masking Rosin - 134 forms
complex with drug & mask it's bitter taste. This complex formed
does not dissociate in saliva pH but, dissociate in acidic pH of
stomach. Thus this complex is tasteless without affecting its bio
availability. This technique helps to formulate palatable &
chewable tablets, dispersible tablet & suspensions of bitter
taste drugs. Examples : Chloroquine Phosphate,
Ciprofloxacin HCL, Chloroquine Sulphate, Dextromethorphan
Hydrobromide, Metoclopramide Hydrochloride.
